SBYC Dinner & Dessert Auction
PARTS' second Dinner & Dessert Auction event at the Seal Beach Yacht Club on November 2 was a great success!
It was a chance for the RHSA community to come together to just relax and have fun. We had a delicious dinner prepared by chef Mike Watson, RHSA parent (with the resources of the catering company he works for) and the able assistance of many PARTS members. We also enjoyed a variety of performances by RHSA students -- a demonstration that proved how much amazing talent we have at Renaissance. There was also a very lively cake auction, with desserts both handmade by RHSA parents and donated by Rossmoor Bakery, Hof's Hut, Pacific Fund Raisers. or purchased by parents for the auction from King's Hawaiian and Alsace Lorraine. Finally, we had an opportunity drawing for two prize baskets with a total value of more than $500.
The involvement of the students in so many ways, from performing, to auctioning the cakes, to helping with the ticket sales, made this event really special. We raised about $1700!
